Trainig Center & Hosting“ Simona Esmeralda Féliz Alcántara” 

 

Our Rural Hostel its oriented  to visitors or backpackers around the world but also to Dominican people , is part of a tourism development project linked to nature tourism, about biodiversity, ecotourism, adventure tourism, agro tourism and local community development.

 

The project begins with the main objective to recover the activity of the former Training Center and Hosting "Simona Esmeralda Felix Alcantara" which was inaugurated in 2004 with the support of national and international visitors to Polo - Barahona, getting an extra input from coffee production.

 

Hostel Rural want to welcome all visitors who wish to enjoy a unique and different experience in a natural environment, to connect with the nature and  want to disconnect from the big cities and who intend to approach the custom and culture of the community, located 38 km the city of Barahona, in the municipality of Polo. Also the visitors or backpackers would enjoy an economic  trip of the country in search of different  experiences, and seek to enjoy a tourism linked to the agrarian nature, mountains, rivers, coasts and lakes in the southwestern addresses the Dominican Republic, blending into the local culture that is wrapped in a healthy, comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

 

This project combines the closeness to nature with adventure and unique experiences and does so by proposing a comfortable and attractive price for any visitor who wants to approach Polo to live unique experience.
